Welcome to the Practice Monitor (PM) Orientation Program. This program is divided into five modules in an effort to provide Practice Monitors (PMs) with the necessary knowledge to assist in effectively carrying out the identified monitoring requirements. The Orientation will cover the following:
- CPSO requirements for Practice Monitoring
- PM terms and duties
- Appropriate physician behaviour
- Harassment, discrimination and violence in the workplace
- Appropriate consent, draping and intimate exams
Following completion of the modules participants will have an understanding of the PM’s expectations and monitoring requirements.
Please note that for the purpose of this program, the pronouns “he/his” will reference both “he/his” and “she/her” as applicable.
Enrolment
The Practice Monitor (PM) Orientation is available by invitation only to members and/or individuals who act in the PM capacity for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
